Explore Mauritius
Mauritius is a serene island in the Indian ocean. It is known for its beautiful white beaches, crystal clear water, coral reefs, food, festivals and the natural beauty. You will get a free visa on arrival. You need to carry your original passport with at least 6 months validity and all your old passports along with you to get the visa. Itinerary-
Day 1
Arrival
Upon your arrival, head to the South islands and check into your desired hotel. Take rest and then proceed to visit the Trou Aux Cerfs, which is a sleeping volcanic crater. Take time to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. Next, proceed for Curepipe botanical garden which is the second largest botanical garden there. End your day by having dinner at this beautiful island at your desired hotel.
Day 2
Grand Bassin and Seven Coloured Earth
Visit the Grand Bassin or the Ganga Talao which is a holy lake for the Hindus. The water is believed to be connected to the holy river water of Ganga in India. Just beside the lake is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Next, proceed for Seven Coloured Earth where you will find seven different coloured clay in a single place. You will also notice waterfalls around the place.
Day 3
Ile Aux Cerfs
This is an island on the eastern coast. It is famous for its white sand beaches and beautiful lagoons. It is a picturesque and eye-catching view. Here, you can enjoy activities like scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming. Take your time to enjoy the beach.
Day 4
North Island
Visit the capital city- Port Louis. The city is surrounded by a gorgeous mountain range. Go to the Mauritius national botanical garden. It is an amazingly eye-catching view of nature. In the Caudan Waterfront you will find many shopping centers and entertainment centers. Explore the vibrant market and yourself something to take back home.
Day 5
Departure
Get ready for your flight as per the timing and check out of your hotel.
